Description A traditional method Welsh sparkling white wine. Velfrey is a multi-award winning fizz, made from a blend of our Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes. It has won a silver medal in the 2024 Glass of Bubbly Awards, the Best Sparkling White Wine at the Welsh Wine Awards 2024 and has previously been selected by WineGB as one of the UK’s Top 100 Wines. This year it picked up a bronze medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards. 22 months lees aging 11% ABV It has a lively pour and excellent clarity. Citrusy and fresh with notes of peach, apricot, apple pastry, and minerality freshness with white florals on the nose. The traditional method provides a touch of cream and brioche-like savouriness.
