The 3M™ Littmann® Cardiology IV™ Stethoscope is the next generation of one of the most recognized medical stethoscopes, offering improved acoustic performance with better hearing of high-frequency sounds (adult side, constant pressure). The discrete, chalice-shaped cone, the Cardiology IV, features dual-frequency diaphragms on both sides, providing excellent acoustic performance, flexibility, and ease of diagnosis of adult and pediatric patients. The pediatric side of the cone converts to a traditional cone by replacing the dual-frequency diaphragm with a non-freezing elastic bezel, which is included with every Cardiology IV stethoscope. Both the pediatric and adult sides of the cone have single diaphragms that are easily removed, attached, and cleaned, as the surfaces are smooth and cavity-free.
